Those thing make my sturm pretty much obsolete since sturm is so expensive and you have much no hard counter against it. The only real concern from soviet is the pesky snipers. (This mean that you can't really aim for high fuel gain which is necessary for fielding reliable amount of armoured forces but you can still field tier 4 infantry which is imo the strongest AI infantry int he game.) If you managed to gain good map control you can strengthen your foothold by skipping tier 3 and getting tier 4 and use that flak gun to your advantage. I usually go luftwaffe doctrine because their MG is pretty nice (almost similar to MG42 team but slightly cheaper manpower)įor building I usually go tier 2 since healing up sturm pioneer is pretty important (they take insane manpower to reinforce) Tier 3's munition/fuel focus ability is meaingless in early game since you net out so little. KW (if enemies micro is terrible, if they are good then this is really not worth the investment since it is too squishy and not mobile enough) or MG34 or volksĪs OKW, i find that you need to field at least 2 volks early on if you want to capture some stuff. Although i am terrible at OKW, I personally like this openingĤ.
